Real Weddings: Leta and JC's Fall Tennessee Wedding

He found me on Facebook. Sent me a DM, we started talking, and the rest is history!

Tell us about the proposal!

We were going to Nashville around Valentines Day to stay for a couple days for a concert. He had never seen the Opryland Hotel and wanted to go. We get to the hotel and he wanted to go see the conservatory, mainly the waterfalls. I hadn’t been in a few years so we’re just walking around looking for these said waterfalls. Unable to find them. I’m getting frustrated because he’s so dead set on finding them. I’m like “what’s the big deal?” He insists on trying to find them. We continue to walk and eventually take the right turns and I stumble upon a ledge the leads us to the waterfall. I take the steps up closer to the waterfall looking at them, turn around to say something and he’s down on one knee.

What was your most memorable moment on your wedding day?

The few moments we had to ourselves after the ceremony. We had gone to the dock around the pond to take pictures. While we were standing on the dock Samantha had walked around the driveway to capture the image. In that moment we were just standing there ecstatic and just caught up in what just took place. Best feeling I have ever felt.

Is there anything else you think future couples will find interesting / helpful about planning your wedding?

Choose a coordinator/planner!! I wasn’t even in my right mind the day of the wedding. I had so many emotions running through me I couldn’t even think straight. My coordinator was my saving grace.
